The Passive Voice

When we want to show that the action is more important than the person who carries it out, aka the agent, we use the passive voice.

As you already know, we need the verb to be in the appropriate tense (present simple: am/is/are, past simple: was/were, present perfect: has/have been, future simple: will be) and the past participle of the main verb to form the passive.
