Design a poster or infographic in Canva.

Present Continuous Tense

Are you reading this right now? Is your friend playing football outside? Maybe your dog is sleeping.

When we talk about what is happening at this very moment, we use the present continuous tense

We use the verb to be (am, is, are) + verb + -ing:
I am sitting.
She is making her bed.
They are laughing.

Try writing what your classmates are doing right now.

To ask questions, we move to be to the front (Is he dancing?). To say no, we add not (We are not sleeping).
