There are different ways to talk about the future in English. We choose the form depending on what we want to say:
- Will + infinitive → for promises or predictions: I will help you with your homework.
- Going to + infinitive → for plans or intentions: We are going to visit my cousins in the mountains.
- Present continuous → for arrangements: We are meeting our friends at the park on Saturday.
- Present simple → for timetables or schedules: The train leaves at 7:30.
